PUBLICO

PúBLICO

PASSION PROJECT:BRANDING • CREATIVE DIRECTION • WEB DESIGN• EVENT MARKETING

Hosted by Rude Gents, Público is a monthly social event series held in Pilsen's backyard featuring some of our favorite local musicians, artisits, and photographers--all in a rooftop city view.

OBJECTIVE: Build credibility and awareness among our demographic for this event. There are several monthly social events popular among our target group and we would like our event to be recognized as a distinct and memorable experience.

PROBLEM: Technically, since the venue is at a house, this event could be seen as a house party *flashbacks to scenes from Project X. So we tackled the question, "How can we make a house party in Pilsen classy?"

SOLUTION: Create a branding and experience that embodies the modern and sophisticated Rude Gents persona.

TEAM: Guillermo Duarte, Project Lead, Copywriter | Cristobal Mora, Project Lead | Francisco Soriano, Videographer | Michael Goebel, Lighting Designer | Alexandra Castro, Project Lead, Creative Director | Tania Leanos, Model |

LOGO

Since the event is causal, I decided to keep all of the letters lowercase. The serif typeface, Playfair subtly connotes sophistication.

VISUAL CONTENT

Rude Gents' magazine features more male driven content, so we wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to expand our demographic and appear more inclusive for women. Therefore, for the promotional images used throughout the marketing material, we decided an image of a woman be most effective.
